 Pearl Fest 2010Saturday August 21, 2010 This year we have the Pearl Fest Weekend contest. Any individual that agrees to donate $60; $10/6 months, or $60 outright, will be placed in a drawing for a fun weekend package. Prize package includes: hotel accommodations with spa day and dinner for two Winners will be announced during the festival, and individuals do not need to be present to win. Please visit our website www.blackpearl.org or stop by our onsite café at the LBP tent to register to win "Pearlized Staycation" package for two. Community Health FairIn partnership with University of Illinois at Chicago, Little Black Pearl will host a Community Health Fair at the Pearl Fest. UIC and other health advocates will be on hand to educate the community about rising health issues and provide free screenings, consultations and products to Pearl Fest participants. Screenings and services will include complimentary prostate, diabetes, blood pressure and HIV screenings; chiropractic consultations; and back to school vaccines and shots for youth. The outdoor festival will incorporate a mixture of entertainment, food, merchant and service vendors with fun activities for all ages.  HOME |
