Hand-building in Clay: 5-Week Workshop Monday Evenings | 6 PM – 9 PM Dates: April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18 Skill Level: Beginner / Intermediate Capacity: 4 (minimum) – 12 participants This five-week ceramics workshop focuses on expressive hand-building techniques to create small sculptural pieces or functional pottery forms. Over the first four weeks, participants will explore methods such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction to build unique and personal works of art. The final session will be dedicated to glazing and finishing. Designed for beginners and those with some clay experience, this class offers an in-depth look at the creative possibilities of hand-building, with an emphasis on experimentation and individual expression. Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing suitable for working with clay. Please Note: A minimum of four participants is required for the class to run. If the minimum is not met, a full refund will be issued. Late registration is accepted through the second week of the workshop. We look forward to building with you.
