The LBP Recording Studio is a professional yet comfortable recording space designed for podcasters, storytellers, musicians, and content creators. It supports audio and video recording with high-quality equipment and on-site technical assistance.
What is the LBP Recording Studio?
The studio operates Monday through Friday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Weekend sessions are available by request only.
What are the studio hours?
You can request studio availability by emailing blittle@blackpearl.org or by booking available dates and time directly.
How do I request studio time?
A recording session costs $175 and includes up to 90 minutes of studio time, raw audio files, and an engineer. C47 Work Lounge members receive 10% off.
How much does a recording session cost?
Each session includes studio access, an engineer, professional microphones, and delivery of live audio files (raw files only).
What is included in a recording session?
Yes. Professional video add-ons are available to enhance your podcast recording.
1-Camera setup: $50
2-Camera setup: $75
3-Camera cinematic setup: $125
Can I add video recording to my session?
Yes. Editing services are available and are paid directly to the engineer.
Do you offer editing services?
Audio mixing is $50 per episode (up to one hour). Video podcast editing is $100 per episode (up to one hour). Recording time is not included in these rates.
What are the editing rates if I already have recordings?
Editing packages include recording time, editing, sound bites, and a simple intro and outro.
What is included in editing packages?
Yes. Custom intros, outros, and video recording are available as add-ons.
Can I request custom intros or outros?
There are two studio options available depending on your recording needs.
What studio options are available?
Studio 1 is ideal for one-on-one conversations or small group recordings and accommodates 2–4 guests.
What is LBP Podcast Studio 1 best for?
Studio 1 includes an engineer, four microphones, Zoom integration, and the ability to live stream.
What is included in Studio 1?
Studio 2 is an isolation booth designed for direct-to-camera recording and short-form content. It accommodates one guest.
What is LBP Podcast Studio 2?
Studio 2 includes an engineer, one to two microphones, Zoom integration, and live-stream capability.
What is included in Studio 2?
The studio features a RØDECaster Pro Podcast Station, RØDE PodMics with boom arms, headphones, RGB lighting, and a Logitech webcam.
What equipment is available in the studio?
Yes. Both studios support Zoom integration and live streaming.
Can I live stream from the studio?
Yes. An engineer is included with all recording sessions.
Is an engineer included with every session?
Studio 1 fits up to four guests. Studio 2 fits one guest.
How many people can be in the studio at once?
Yes. C47 Work Lounge members receive 10% off all podcast studio services.
