Have questions about our audio, lighting, and event production services? This FAQ covers AV rental packages, individual equipment options, pricing, set-up, and engineering support to help you plan your event with confidence.

What AV rental services does Little Black Pearl offer?

We offer professional audio and lighting rentals for events ranging from small gatherings to live band performances. Options include individual equipment rentals, bundled packages, and on-site engineering support.

Do you offer full AV packages or only individual equipment rentals?

We offer both. Clients may choose individual equipment à la carte or select from curated packages designed for house parties, live bands, lighting needs, and gallery or event spaces.

What is included in the Lighting Package?

The Lighting Package includes Xstatic EVO RGBUV light bars, LED stage par lights with remotes, and power cables. This package is available for $155 with set-up included.

What is the “Set the Stage” Live Band Package?

The Set the Stage package is designed for full live band performances and includes a multi-channel recording console, powered speakers and subwoofers, floor monitors, microphones, stands, and cables. Pricing ranges from $1,650–$2,000 with an engineer included, depending on event needs.

What are the House Party Packages?

House Party packages are scaled audio solutions for small to mid-size events.

  • House Party Package – $450 with set-up

  • House Party 2 Package – $575 with set-up

  • House Party 3 Package – $750 with set-up

Each package includes powered speakers, a mixer, microphones, stands, cables, and power support.

What is the Black Wall Package?

The Black Wall Package is designed specifically for the Black Wall event space and offers two options:

  • Package 1 – $225

  • Package 2 – $425

Both packages include JBL EON One MK2 speakers, wireless microphones, cables, and set-up is included.

Can I rent individual equipment instead of a package?

Yes. Individual rental options include mixers, speakers, subwoofers, microphones, stands, lighting fixtures, and wireless systems. Pricing varies by item and quantity.

Is an engineer included with AV rentals?

Engineering services are available and required for certain packages, such as live band performances. Engineering for live concerts is available at $500 for up to 6 hours, or $75 per hour for general event sound support.

What does AV set-up and break-down include?

AV set-up and break-down covers delivery, equipment installation, testing, and tear-down. Pricing is $125 per speaker package unless otherwise included in the selected bundle.

Can I swap wired microphones for wireless microphones?

Yes. Wired microphones can be swapped for wireless microphones at no additional cost when available.

Do packages include power and cables?

Yes. All packages include the necessary power cables, XLR cables, speaker poles, and auxiliary cables needed for operation.

Can these rentals be used outside of Little Black Pearl spaces?

Yes. AV rentals are available for on-site and off-site events, depending on availability and staffing requirements.

Is there a discount for C47 Work Lounge members?

Yes. C47 Work Lounge members receive 10% off AV rental services.
