All food & beverage services must be provided by a licensed caterer unless otherwise approved by LBP management. We may request proof of caterers’ licensing/ certification. All events serving food/ alcoholic beverages require: · A certificate of insurance · A copy of the bartender’s Bassett certification · A copy of the caterer’s license and Dept. of Sanitation certification
CONDUCT OF AN EVENT Only the spaces included in the rental agreement are available for use by client/ event guests. Client assumes full responsibility for the conduct of all persons in attendance at the event. In addition, client assumes full responsibility for any and all damage done to any part of the facility utilized, reserved, or under the control of, client or client’s guests, agents, invitees, employees or independent contractors, including, but not limited to caterer, decorator and entertainment. Client agrees to conduct the event in an orderly manner, in full compliance with all applicable laws, codes, rules and regulations established by Little Black Pearl, including but not limited to, all of the provisions contained in the event guidelines and facility rental agreement. SECURITY In the sole judgment of Little Black Pearl, it is necessary to ensure adequate security measures in light of the size and nature of the event; client is responsible for the added expense of additional security personnel hired by the museum. Little Black Pearl will not assume or accept any responsibility of damage to or loss of personal items/merchandise by the client, caterer, or any guests using our facility. All items must be removed from the facility immediately following the event unless otherwise approved by the facility staff. Items remaining will be discarded at the discretion of the facility.
